Birth Plan
Through my experience in hospital, birth centers, and home settings I can help you navigate your birth with grace and strength. I believe that through education and support you can achieve the birthof your dreams. An empowering birth is more than just everything going according to plan, it's about feeling like you are in control of every decision regarding you and your baby.
During each childbirth class or home visit I give you tools for each stage of labor, so that when labor starts you feel comfortable and in control of your body. Good comfort techniques give you peace of mind and the strength to complete the hard work of giving birth. I provide a tens machine, essential oils, rebozo, massage lotions, and lots of loving encouragement!
Making a good birth plan is one of the goals I help you reach in preparing for your birth. I believe that every decision surrounding the birth of a new human is very important and want to give you all the information needed to make an educated decision. During the childbirth class or home visits I walk you through common decisions of making a birth plan.
Newborn Care
Having a baby is huge change in your life and I am here to guide you through the first few weeks. I give you information on feeding, crying, skin care, diapering, sleeping, and warning signs during the prenatal home visits. Babies are the most precious gift and I love helping you care for them the best way possible.
Emotional Support
You can do this mama! I believe in you and want to give you every support to acomplish this labor of love. Birth requires the equal strength of your body, mind, and heart and I am here to encourage you in all three. I have seen so many mamas give birth and I know that you share their strength and love.
Family Support
Some of the most satisfying moments as a doula is sitting back and watching the family and partner support and love on mama during labor. I can do everything I can to encourage you, but the love of a family is like no other. I want to prepare your tribe for labor as much as you.
